Star Trek 3 writers J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay are attached to pen the script for a big screen reboot of "Flash Gordon" character says Film Divider (via Screen Rant).
The report claims that the pair are working with a producer and are "in the process of making a studio deal."

planet Mongo with his lady love, Dale Arden, and scientist Dr. Hans
Zarkov. There, they discover a world ruled by Ming the Merciless.
