Musical Notes

2 high profile films are getting their soundtrack into shape...

First up: Alicia Keys and Jack White (of The White Stripes) will sing the theme song for the next James Bond movie "Quantum Of Solace" - the first duet in the series twenty-two film history.

White wrote and produced the song which is entitled "Another Way To Die" and also plays the drums on the track.

The soundtrack will be released October 28th, while the film itself will be released in North American on November 7th.

The sometimes wacky Amy Winehouse and Leona Lewis were previously in the running as the vocalists for the theme song.

And Then...

The East Coast rock band My Chemical Romance (pictured) will perform a cover of a Bob Dylan song ('Desolation Row'?) for the upcoming "Watchmen" posts MTV News.

The track, played during the film's closing credits, will be the only post-1985 song on the film's soundtrack. The various other songs will be period specific to the story which runs through the 60's, 70's and early 80's.
