Helena Bonham Carter has left the set of "Terminator Salvation" to fly back home to Britain after four members of her family were killed in a car crash in South Africa reports FOX News.
Bonham Carter's relatives were on a safari holiday when their minibus spun out of control and flipped over after a tire burst late last week. Helena's cousin Fiona survived with a broken shoulder, but Fiona's son, mother, sister-in-law and stepfather were all killed in a remote area six hours from Johannesburg.
Bonham Carter has been granted an indefinite leave from the film shooting in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to fly back to Britain to comfort her distraught family. Carter plays the small but crucial role of a villain in the new flick.
