Hollywood writer Aaron Sorkin has revealed on his newly-created Facebook page that he's writing a film about the founders of the popular social networking site.
Launched on February 4, 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg as a sophomore studying at Harvard University with best buds Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes .
At first membership was restricted to Harvard students and then expanded to all of the Ivy League schools before going on to open up for all universities and high schools in Canada and the U.S.
Sorkin: "I honestly don't know how this works, which is why I'm here." The film is untitled tight now but will be produced by Scott Rudin.
The site now has more than 100 million users worldwide and is valued at $16 billion dollars.
The story does have a very cinematic feel to it--At the same time though it seems like an odd fit for Sorkin.
