Hilary Swank has acquired the rights and may star in a film adaptation of the best-selling book "French Women Don't Get Fat" for her production company according to Variety.
The romantic comedy follows the adventures of author and Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Champagne's former manager Mireille Guiliano.
She also explains in the book how French women manage to stay trim despite enjoying such calorie-rich food and drink.
Swank is not really known as the rom-com type per se' but I'm glad she may be up for flexing her acting muscles here.
Heather Hach will adapt the script as she also pens the sequel to the '03 "Freaky Friday" remake.
