Mommie Dearest

Brett Ratner adds yet another movie to an already over stuffed plate...

Bloody Disgusting is saying that "Rat" is planning a redo of 1980's Mother's Day. The original from Charles Kaufman dealt with three female friends from college getting together for a ten year reunion, The trio decide to go camping in the woods....

Unknown to them, two boys and their mother who live in those woods, like to abduct people and torture them.

Franck Khalfoun is in charge of the updated script

Ratner doing horror is...umm...interesting... Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II) directing the pic seemed a better fit...But that talk has since been quieted by Bousman:

"I haven't read a script or a treatment... add it to the other 25 supposed remakes I am hypothetically attached to."

Waiting for "official" word.
