George Clooney will star in the film adaptation of Walter Kirn's book "Up In the Air" according to Variety.Clooney appears as a heartless HR executive who becomes fixated on earning his millionth frequent flyer mile. Once this small dream is reality, he becomes disconnected with his family and left without a home life.
Jason Reitman ("Juno") will direct the film and shooting will happen early next year.
Ho-hum and yawn on the premise.
