Michael Fleming of Variety has news of a reel gender-bender....Edwin A. Salt is about to undergo a gender change. Once expected to star Tom Cruise the Sony/Columbia Pictures espionage thriller will be redrafted by screenwriter Kurt Wimmer as a star vehicle for Angelina Jolie.
Cruise's dance card seems full and so something had to give I suppose...She can certainly handle the demands of the film.
Does this mean a name change to Edwina A Salt?
