Supporting actor extraordinaire is the latest front runner to play the ring wearing galactic superhero in the upcoming The Green Lantern film says HitFix.While no deal has been signed yet,the site's always reliable Drew McWeeny insists the casting rumor comes from several reliable sources and while it's not yet locked - its well beyond the mere audition/discussion phase.
Cooper joins a growing list of possible contenders Ryan Reynolds, Anton Yelchin was tagged in February, followed by the Chris Pine rumor in March, and then Brian Austin Green in April.
This would be a big get for Cooper and his career would take off big time...another solid name but decide already will ya....
Martin Campbell directs the project which begins shooting later this year in Sydney, Australia.
