Armentrout's "Obsidian" Becomes A Movie

Sierra Pictures will finance and produce a film adaptation of author Jennifer Armentrout's young adult novel "Obsidian" says THR.

The first in the Lux Series of five books, the story follows a 17-year-old girl whose boring life is changed forever when she learns that her arrogant neighbor Daemon Black and his sister possess otherworldly powers and are being hunted by various enemies.

Nick Meyer and Marc Schaberg are set to executive produce the potential film franchise launcher.
