Kevin Costner plays a grieving widower fighting for custody of his bi-racial granddaughter with the girl’s paternal grandmother (Octavia Spencer) and his drug addict son-in-law (Andre Holland) who he blames for his own daughter’s death.
Jacobs has the role of the girlfriend of Costner’s best friend (Bill Burr). Jennifer Ehle co-stars.
"The Upside of Anger" writer/director Mike Binder does the same tasks here as well.
Todd Lewis Costner and Binder will produce the film
Production is underway in New Orleans.
