Following the news that actor Johnny Depp is moving his production company from Warner Bros to Disney after signing a multi-year first look deal.
The deal allows him to develop film projects he can produce for the studio.
Deadline reports that, Depp is in final talks to reprise his role as The Mad Hatter for sequel Alice in Wonderland 2.
The first film's scribe Linda Woolverton is already set to write the script for the sequel for James Bobin ("The Muppets") who is replacing Tim Burton in the big chair. Joe Roth, Suzanne Todd and Jennifer Todd are back to produce the film. The 2010 version of "Alice in Wonderland" earned more than $1 billion at the worldwide box office .
Depp will likely do the film once he wraps "Pirates Of The Caribbean 5" for the studio.
