Billy Slaughter Is A Fed Agent In "Max Steel"

Billy Slaughter has joined the cast of the live-action adaptation of Mattel's superhero toy franchise called Max Steel says Heat Vision.

The action follows Max McGrath (Ben Winchell), a teenager with special turbo-energy powers. Together with his alien companion Steel, he becomes the superhero Max Steel.

Slaughter will play Agent Murphy in the film.

Ana Villafañe will play Max's love interest, Sydney Gardner. Andy Garcia will play the brilliant and mysterious scientist Dr. Miles Edwards.

Christopher Yost ("Thor: The Dark World") wrote the script from which Stewart Hendler directs.

 Julia Pistor and Bill O'Dowd will produce the film.

Production is underway in Wilmington Wilmington, N.C .
