During the publicity push for Seven Pounds last month, actor Will Smith talked sequels to I Am Legend and Hancock...
For Legend Smith told Collider: "We have a fantastic prequel idea…we’re still trying to work through a couple of bumps in the story. It’s essentially the fall of the last city – the last stand of Manhattan. The movie would be…within the body of the movie D.C. and then Manhattan would fall as the last city. It’s a really cool idea trying to figure it out… there’s a reason why we have to take a small band and we have to get into D.C. So we have to make our way from New York to D.C. and then back to New York."
All that Smith would say to JoBlo is that a "Hancock" sequel is "definitely" on the way...
Of the 2 films I would much rather see the prequel to Legend than anymore Hancock adventures...Smith gives a great performance as the last man on earth...While Hancock had a problematic script...
Chatting with Movieweb he says he would consider playing President-elect Barack Obama in the future but "wait until at least six months after Obama was out of office before releasing it."
Smith thinks that should have let some distance pass before releasing W....
I agree. And he would make a great Obama
