A feature film adaptation of Heidi Murkoff's non-fiction pregnancy guidebook What to Expect When You're Expecting" says The Hollywood Reporter.
The first in the series was published in 1984 and has gone on to sell between 14 to 20 million copies. Now in it's 4th edition--It's believed at one point that up to 93%of expectant American moms had read the book.
The film will follow the relationships of seven couples as they experience the thrills, terrors, surprises, aches and pains of preparing to embark on life's biggest journey, parenthood.
Freaky Friday (2003) writer Heather Hach who is currently nine months pregnant, will write the adaptation.
With fellow self help book He's Just Not That Into You also a film--is this a new movie genre?
David Thwaites, Mike Medavoy and Arnie Messer will produce the pic.
