A decision is expected by the end of next weekend whether the studio will release Louis Leterrier's remake of "Clash of the Titans " in 3-D reports the Heat Vision blog.
A test has already been ordered which the Warner Bros suits will screen next week before deciding whether to make the move. If they decide that's the way to go 'Clash' will undergo 2-D-to-3-D conversion used on such efforts as the recent re-releases of the first two Toy Story flicks
Titans is set for release March 26th and will likely stick to that date, which means the usual lengthy pace of the conversion process will need to be rushed at considerable expense.
The film will face competition in 3-D theatres against the animated toon How To Train Your Dragon which opens the same day.
Titans star Sam Worthington's Avatar has studios scrambling to capitalize on that film's mega-success in 3-D any way they can.
