Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend) has been brought in as a consultant to oversee reshoots on the upcoming comic book film “Jonah Hex” reports the Heat Vision Blog.
Cause for concern?
Filming kicks off at the end of the month over ten days in Los Angeles with twelve additional script pages to be worked into the pic.
Jimmy Hayward will stay on as the helmer--already a replacement for Crank directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. The duo’s script, which star Josh Brolin, once called “awful"is still in play
The move is similar to the way Richard Donner came in to consult on reshoots of X-Men Origins: Wolverine that Gavin Hood directed.
John Malkovich, Megan Fox, Will Arnett and Michael Shannon co star in Hex
It's not yet known if the reshoots will affect the June 18th release date.
