Zac Efron is attached to star in an adaptation of the Brian Michael Bendis graphic novel Fire according to Deadline Hollywood.
Efron will play a college student who is recruited by the CIA, only to find that he has been trained for a program that creates expendable agents.
Bendis will write the script for the movie.
Neil Moritz and David Engel will produce while Efron and Jason Barrett will serve as executive producers.
Efron has been circling action pics in the past but this one is on the most solid ground...
No director has been chosen for this flick yet which eyes a 2012 release.
Efron has also signed to star in the"Back to the Future"-esque pic that takes it's premise from a pitch by Assassination of a High School President duo Tim Calpin and Kevin Jakubowski as well as Nicholas Stoller' Algorithm.
