I Do's And Don't

The folks over at Pajiba report that Will Ferrell's doing a romantic comedy based on a little known French film from 2006 called I Do: How To Get Married And Stay Single, which starred Charlotte Gainsbourg and was conceived by actor/producer/writer Alain Chabat.

Deets are sketchy, and no writer is attached as yet, but the plot is described as the story of a 40-something year old bachelor whose seven sisters and mum try to force him to get married, prompting him to ask a friend's sister to leave him at the altar so that everyone will leave him alone.

Ferrell's next pic The Other Guys, an action comedy from director Adam McKay and also starring Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson is now in post--hoping everybody forgets the flop that was the big budget comedy Land of the Lost.
