Production on the latest Riddick Sequel starring Vin Diesel, was shut down earlier this week due to "serious cash flow issues" reports TMZ.
Michel Trudel, the owner of the Montreal studio where the new movie is being shot, says everyone on the set had to be kicked off because Diesel's production company failed to pay them on time.
Similarly, several members of the crew have reportedly not been paid in over two weeks and "are very concerned about getting their money".
Trudel says he's "confident the situation will be resolved soon" and production is expected to resume once these financial issues are resolved.
A mere 2 days later Bloody-Disgusting reported that Katee Sackhoff had been offered the role of Dahl, a mercenary tracking Riddick, and Andreas Apergis was offered Krone, the commander of an evil theocracy. Bokeem Woodbine and Dave Bautista are up for roles as well...we shall see
It was reported last month that Karl Urban is returning as Vaako, a role he played in The Chronicles of Riddick.
David Twohy is directing the sequel from his own screenplay...Whenever production resumes
