Who Will Get The Part?

A multi-film casting report says many of Hollywood's young men are up for key parts in some BIG 2013 flicks....Courtesy -The Hollywood Reporter.


*Luke Evans ("Immortals") and Toby Kebbell ("Rocknrolla") will be involved in the testing next week for the role of Arthur opposite "The Killing" star Joel Kinnaman as Lancelot in David Dobkin's Arthur & Lancelot. Game of Thrones star Kit Harington previously tested for Arthur and is re-testing for the role in competition with his 'brother' from Thrones actor Richard Madden.


*Liam Hemsworth ("The Last Song"), Aaron Paul ("Breaking Bad"), James Badge Dale and D.J. Cotrona are the finalists to play Bruce Willis’ son in "A Good Day To Die Hard Hemsworth is said to be the front runner for the part but all of them will have chemistry reads with Willis next weekend with a decision to be made soon afterwards.


*Ezra Miller (We Need to Talk About Kevin) and Alden Ehrenreich (Tetro) are at the top of the list to play the role of Tetsuo in the live-action remake of "Akira" The character is a young man with telekinetic abilities who becomes a dangerous weapon. Garrett Hedlund is in talks to play Kaneda, his older brother and a motorcycle gang leader.


*Luke Grimes, Logan Marshall-Green Julian Morris and ,Thomas McDonell are reading next week for director Roland Emmerich's latest sci-fi film Singularity. Ben Barnes and Luke Bracey are also up for the lead part of Adam but won't participate in the reading.

*Tom Hiddleston and Benjamin Walker are reading for the role of a criminal on the run in a Winter's Tale directed by Akiva Goldsman. Russell Crowe is loosely attached to portray the villain. Elizabeth Olsen, Bella Heathcote, Gabriella Wilde, and Sarah Gadon are reading for the terminally ill woman.
