Phillips Says Trust Your Eyes

Even as "The Hangover" and "Old School" director Todd Phillips preps the remake of The Gambler--and  once he finishes The Hangover Part III, Phillips will start work on an adaptation of author Linwood Barclay's thriller novel Trust Your Eyes says Variety

The film is described as a blend between “…Alfred Hitchcock’s Rear Window and Barry Levinson’s Rain Man, story follows a schizophrenic, map-obsessed savant who witnesses a murder online on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. He insists that his older brother investigate, and the siblings cross paths with a politically connected ex-cop and his ice pick-wielding henchwoman.”

No screenwriter has been attached to adapt the novel.

Phillips will also produce the pic with Dan Lin.

Jon Silk co-producing and Scott Budnick serving as executive producer.
