Rodriguez Joins "About Last Night" Redux

"CSI: Miami" co-star Adam Rodriguez  has joined the cast of the remake of the 1986 rom-com "About Last Night" says Variety.

The original film , directed by Edward Zwick, starred Demi Moore and Rob Lowe. It was based on David Mamet's play “Sexual Perversity in Chicago,” and tracked the up-and-down relationship of a couple through their first year together (Michael Ealy and Joy Bryant).

Rodriguez will play Bryant's former lover and colleague.

The new film will actually be closer in spirit to said stage production than the 80's movie was, even though the location for this film is being shifted to Los Angeles.

Regina Hall and comedian Kevin Hart are set to co-star.

Leslye Headland (writer-director of the upcoming “Bachelorette”) is penning the new adapted script from which Steve Pink will direct

Will Gluck is producing.

Production  has just begun in Los Angeles.
