Radcliffe Goes After Frankenstein Role

Daniel Radcliffe is reportedly keen on playing the lead role of Hunchback in director Paul McGuigan’s version of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein reports The Wrap.

Based on a script by Max Landis (“Chronicle”), this puts a sci-fi spin on the classic story of a lumbering creature produced through a scientific experiment.

Shawn Levy was previously attached as director but left due to budgeting issues.

The character is described as pathologically dirty and dressed in old clown's clothing. The focus is now on getting the final script, at which casting will officially begin.
