Fox has put its live-action adaptation of author Judith Viorst's children's book "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" into turnaround says Deadline.
Steve Carell was attached to star in the film which "The Kids Are All Right" filmmaker Lisa Cholodenko was co-writing with Rob Lieber
Cholodenko would direct.
Shawn Levy is producing.
Fox was said to be uncomfortable with the budget and let it go. The pic will be shopped around starting immediately with its talent still attached.
