Paul W.S. Anderson’s adapted both "Mortal Kombat" and "Resident Evil" video game franchises for the big screen. Is he doing a third?
The Playlist (via PDC) says Anderson and 'Resident' game series producer Capcom are considering putting their "Monster Hunter" game series on the same path as a potential film franchise.
The fantasy/action RPGs follow a hunter in a fantasy environment who hunts and attempts to capture monsters.
Since its debut in 2004, the multiple games in the series have sold a combined 21 million units.
