The Texas Chainsaw 3D Trailer (Yawn)

Leatherface that chainsaw wielding maniac returns in the latest horror reboot--Texas Chainsaw 3D and the first trailer has dropped

Alexandra Daddario stars as Heather, who travels to Texas to collect her inheritance which includes her killer cousin Leatherface. R&B singer Trey Songz (Ugh! really!) has landed the role of Heather's boyfriend.

John Luessenhop ("Takers") calls action on the The Texas Chainsaw Massacre film series which picks up on events after Tobe Hooper's original 1974 horror classic in which Sally Hardesty (Marilyn Burns) was the sole surviving escapee of a group of friends who fall victim to a family of cannibals.

Tania Raymonde, Bill Moseley Chop Top in the 1986 sequel Sue Rock Richard Riehle, Shaun Sipos, Gunnar Hansen, Dan Yeager and Scott Eastwood co-star

Adam Marcus and Debra Sullivan co-wrote the script with a polish by Kirsten Elms .

Kirsten Elms, Kim Henkel, Adam Marcus, Debra Sullivan, Stephen Susco all had a hand in the working on the screenplay.

I know I'm in the minority here but I rather enjoyed the 2003 version of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and its prequel The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning from '06; Those films were improvements over The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 in 1986 and 1990's Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3

This one looks to be just more of the same and not cas good as the most recent remakes. Meh...3-D Ugh!!

The film hits theaters on January 4th 2013
