In the pic Lucas Till ("X-Men: First Class") plays a young man who transforms into a werewolf and finds himself falsely accused of murdering his parents. He goes on the run, eventually arriving at a small town named Lupine Ridge that has a history of supernatural happenings and the secrets to his past.
McHattie will portray a farmer.
Jason Momoa plays a werewolf villain while Merritt Patterson will play a character named Angelina Timmins
Writer David Hayter makes his film directorial debut here.
Steve Hoban ("Ginger Snaps") will produce the film. Benedict Carver, Steven Paul, and Hartley Gorenstein exec producing.
Production begins Thursday near Toronto
