Former "Home and Away" Boys Circle "Need For Speed"

Actors Brenton Thwaites and Luke Bracey, both former stars of Aussie soap "Home and Away", are being tested for roles in film version of the Electronic Arts best-selling video game franchise "Need for Speed" according to Deadline.



George and John Gatins are writing the script from which Scott Waugh ("Act of Valor") would call action,

As a rival to the "Fast and Furious" film series, 'Need' has sold over 100 million copies of the eighteen games in the series, making it the most successful racing video game series in the world.

At last report, Taylor Kitsch had reportedly been offered the lead role.

John Gatins and EA will produce the film.
