The story centers on a documentary filmmaker (Ben Stiller) and his wife (Naomi Watts) who begin to change their uptight ways when they meet and befriend a younger couple. Adam Driver is playing one half of said younger couple, while Amanda Seyfried is a potential candidate to round out the foursome.
Horovitz would play “a married friend of Stiller and Watts’ characters". Horovitz made his acting debut as a troubled Los Angeles youth opposite Donald Sutherland in the 1989 drama "Lost Angels,"
Noah Baumbach is directing from his own screenplay.
Scott Rudin will produce the film.
Production is now set to begin this fall in New York City.
