Mad Max: Fury Road: Hardy Talks Reshoots

Actor Tom Hardy has confirmed that he's headed to Sydney for additional filming on George Miller's reboot of the Mad Max franchise "Mad Max: Fury Road"

Hardy will star as post-apocalyptic drifter Max Rockatansky made famous first by Mel Gibson.

Reports Indicated that only some of the secondary characters would be part of the shoot, and that none of the principals were expected back. Things seem to have changed.

Tom tells Flicks and the City:
"[The movie]'s great. It's a big old piece; it's a behemoth of a piece. I'm off there next week to do some reshoots, well not reshoots actually, but doing more. We're building, building more Mad Maxes, even more spectacular and cool stuff."

The plot sees Max get caught up with a group of people fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by the Imperator Furiosa. This movie is an account of the Road War which follows. It is based on the Word Burgers of the History Men and eyewitness accounts of those who survived.

Aussies Megan Gale John Howard, Angus Sampson and Gillian Jones join Nicholas Hoult, Riley Keough, Charlize Theron Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Adelaide Clemens also star. Aussie Supermodel Abbey Lee Kershaw will make her acting debut in the pic.
