Better To Be Red

Mary-Louise Parker is in talks to join the comic book adaptation Red says the Heat Vision Blog.

Created by Warren Ellis the series follows a former black-ops agent (Bruce Willis) in retirement, who has to contend with younger, more high-tech assassins who show up to kill him.

John C. Reilly plays an overly paranoid retired CIA agent, Parker would play a federal pension worker who becomes embroiled in the Willis character's struggle to stay alive (and becomes his love interest).

Morgan Freeman and Helen Mirren are also cast the film as the villain and Willis' former mentor respectively.

Robert Schwentke directs from a script written by Jon and Erich Hoeber.

A great cast is being assembled for this pic and therefore my interest in this adaptation is getting quite high.
