Clueless and "Look Who's Talking" writer/ director Amy Heckerling's next romantic comedy in rides the current blood-sucker wave in Hollywood--"Vamps" says Screen Daily.
The film will be a modern-day tale of two young female vampires living the good life in New York until love enters the picture and each has to make a choice that will jeopardise their immortality.
Krysten Ritter (pictured Confessions Of A Shopaholic) will play one of the female leads with additional casting underway.
Lauren Versel and Molly Hassell will produce when production kicks off in March.
How much new ground this Vamp tale will cover remains to be seen.
