Former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" series writer/producer Marti Noxon is headed back to the vamp genre...
She is set to write the remake of 80's cult vampire horror comedy Fright Night says The Hollywood Reporter.
The original “Fright,” released in 1985, was written and directed by Tom Holland and starred Chris Sarandon, Roddy McDowall and William Ragsdale. Ragsdale played a teenager who discovers his neighbors are vampires.
The new version is expected to keep the same tone as the original but will pepper it with new visual effects
Michael De Luca, Michael Gaeta and Alison Rosenzweig will produce the update.
Currently writing for TV's Mad Men--While a Night redo is not really necessary-Noxon obviously knows Vamps and she just might be able to craft a great script
