A trailer spoof sketch that aired as part of the 2009 BET Awards is set to become "Sheneneh and Wanda", a feature film caper comedy reports Variety.
Martin Lawrence and Jamie Foxx would star as Sheneneh Jenkins and Wanda Wayne, two modern day independent women trying to make it on their own with the help of a bank robbery every now and then.
Lawrence played Sheneneh, a stereotypically flashy Detroit ghetto girl, as a recurring character in five seasons on his mid-90's sitcom "Martin"
Foxx played Wanda, a character meant to be the ugliest woman in the world, in several skits on hit early 90's sketch show "In Living Color".
The two fan-favorite characters were brought together for the first time in the awards show sketch back in June for a mock movie entitled "Skank Robbers".
Reaction was good enough, and the desire to work together on a film was there, that the pair decided to extend the concept into a feature.
Foxx will write the script and he and Martin will produce. Clint Culpepper is set to exec produce...
Let's face it--The duo is talented-no doubt. But this one could go either way...
