Rush To Action

David Koepp has co-written and will direct "Premium Rush" says Variety.



Collaborating with John Kamps on the the story about a 20-something New York City bike messenger who picks up an envelope at Columbia University. A dirty cop is desperate to get his hands on the envelope and so begins some wild chases as he pursues the bike messenger throughout the city.

The film is being conceived as a big-budget action feature, with like those associated with a William Friedkin pic

Gavin Polone (Zombieland) is producing the pic, marking the fifth time he has worked with Koepp.

Casting has yet to get underway.

Koepp knows how to write action with Toy Soldiers, Jurassic Park, Carlito's Way, Panic Room, Spider-Man, War of the Worlds and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull under his belt.

This one has potential
