"The Help" director Tate Taylor is in talks to direct the road trip comedy "Tammy" reports Variety.
The story centers on a woman who loses her job at Hardee's®, and finds out that her husband is cheating on her and goes on a trip with her foul-mouthed grandmother.
The project's being developed as a starring vehicle for "Bridesmaids" star Melissa McCarthy.
McCarthy co-wrote the script with Ben Falcone.
