MOS 2: Crowe Keen On More Jor-El

Actor Russell Crowe took to Twitter today to respond to some fan questions.

Since Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures moving ahead on Man of Steel 2,  Crowe told fans that he'd be up for reprising the role of Jor-El - especially if there is more scenes set on Krypton before its destruction.

The actor tweets: "A lot of you are asking about a KRYPTON prequel. If that's something you feel strongly about let Legendary Pictures know your thoughts. If it came up, I'd give the tights another go."

"Man Of Steel" director Zack Snyder is set to return to call action. David Goyer is already reportedly writing the script for the sequel.

Stars Henry Cavill and Amy Adams are expected to return as Superman/Clark Kent and Lois Lane.

Pre-production is rumored to get underway by the end of the year ahead of production starting early 2014. This would likely mean a Summer 2015 release for MOS 2.
