Dark Switch

Bradley Cooper will star in the thriller "Dark Fields" says Heat Vision Blog.

Based on Alan Glynn's book, the story follows a down-and-out writer (Cooper) who gets his hands on a top-secret pharmaceutical drug that makes one smarter. He experiences sudden financial and social success but soon discovers that the drug has lethal and lasting side effects. Before long, mysterious antagonists are pursuing him.

Cooper replaces originally attached star Shia Labeouf.

Neil Burger (The Illusionist) will direct from an adapted script from Leslie Dixon

Copper seems a better fit for the role--given he's got a few more years on Labeouf...It will be cool to see him doing a more dramatic role.
