Sigourney Weaver has signed on to Cedar Rapids--joining the also recemtly cast John C. Reilly and Alia Shawkat says Variety.
In the comedy Ed Helms plays a sad-sack insurance agent who goes to an industry convention to try and save the jobs of his colleagues.
Weaver plays Helms' former seventh-grade teacher. Anne Heche also stars.
Miguel Arteta calls action off a script by Phil Johnston and Helms. Shooting is currently underway.
Weaver is a welcomed addition to hone her comedic skills
