Mickey Absorbs Marvel

Disney stockholders have approved the $4.3 billion merger with Marvel meaning--"The House of Ideas" is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Mouse House. The merger was completed at close of business on December 30th ...

Marvel released this statement:

To that end--Disney's chief executive Robert A. Iger says it's now considering a television series which will allow them to make use of several characters from the Marvel universe...

And in turn actor Tim Roth tells MTV News that he's still signed for two more films with The Incredible Hulk but has not heard anything yet if plans are moving ahead

He does say though: "I don’t know if they want to bring [Blonsky] back, but I told them I’m absolutely game for it. It would be so much fun to do it again. I’m in it for three."

How this new deal affects Marvel's movie slate is not known but considering the way Disney's been slashing movie projects lately...Hulk 2 could be next...
