Train Station

James Cameron's next pic may take on another historical event--Following his blue fantasy...

He has optioned Charles Pellegrino's upcoming nonfiction novel "The Last Train from Hiroshima reports Variety.

The book describes the events and aftermath of the Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki--Forever changing our destiny. The book uses accounts from survivors and new archaeological evidence to create an illustrated narrative showing exactly what happened in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Cameron visited Tsutomu Yamaguchi, one of the last survivors of the U.S. bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, during an Avatar promo tour in Japan last month.

Yamaguchi died on Jan 4th at the age of 93.

Wow?! Not to be flip about it--At the rate Hollywood is going... I wonder if the film would be made in 3-D?
