To celebrate the film's 30th anniversary, and the upcoming digitally remastered Blu-ray release on October 9th, Fathom Events has announced that the film will return to the big screen on October 3rd at 7pm local time (with special matinee screenings earlier that afternoon at 2pm).
The screening which will include a taped introduction featuring cast member Drew Barrymore as she reflects on the movie three decades later.
Tickets, theater locations and prices are available through the Fathom Events website with 560 select movie theaters expected to participate in the event
