Wilson Steps In For Olyphant In "Carrion Road"

Patrick Wilson ("The Conjuring," "Watchmen") will replace Timothy Olyphant in "The Man on Carrion Road" says Screen. Olyphant had to vacate the role due to scheduling conflicts with his TV series "Justified".

The story follows a botched Mexican cartel deal on the back roads of a border town. Wilson will portray a sheriff who must team up with the retired lawman he replaced to investigate the mysterious brutalization of the town’s residents.

Gonzalo López-Gallego (“Apollo 18″) will call action from a script by Nils Lyew.
 
William Green and Aaron Ginsburg of Atlas Independent will produce the movie Andy Horwitz will exec produce.

Filming is due to begin in March.
