Aussie actress Teresa Palmer has landed the female lead in "The Sorcerer's Apprentice " says The Hollywood Reporter.
Inspired by the classic Mickey Mouse appearance in the 1940 animated classic "Fantasia"-the story centers on an apprentice (Jay Baruchel) who is left to mind a magic workshop when his sorcerer master (Nicolas Cage) is away. The apprentice gets a broomstick to do his chores for him, but things get out of control when the broom develops a mind of its own.
Palmer is playing Baruchel's love interest.
