Based on author Alan Cowell "The Terminal Spy," the story revolves around former Soviet KGB officer Alexander Litvinenko who was poisoned by a lethal dose of polonium-210-induced acute radiation syndrome in 2006, blaming Russian secret service agents and Russian leader Vladimir Putin before his death.
Fassbender is up for the Litvinenko role
Wyatt is in early talks to helm from a script by David Scarpa. Johnny Depp and Graham King will produce the film
