Warner Bros has announced that Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer's recent Batman trilogy will be getting a home video upgrade as "The Dark Knight Trilogy: Ultimate Collector's Edition," a special six-disc Blu-ray box-set which will hit stores on September 24th.
The set includes Christopher Nolan's three films - "Batman Begins," "The Dark Knight" and "The Dark Knight Rises" - and will include two new featurettes and new collectible memorabilia.
The first featurette includes a look back at the trilogy in exclusive interviews with Guillermo Del Toro, Damon Lindelof, Michael Mann, film critic Richard Roeper, Zack Snyder and more.
The second one sees Nolan sitting down with original "Superman" director Richard Donner to talk about the process involved in bringing an iconic superhero to the big screen.
The memorabilia includes Premium Hot Wheels Collectors Vehicles including the Tumbler, Batpod and The Bat. There's also a 48-page hardcover book, and newly commissioned collectible art cards from Mondo.
They sold me with the Donner/Nolan sit-down!!!
