Winning Streep

Meryl Streep is in final negotiations to play the female lead in Nancy Meyers' as yet untitled romantic comedy according to Variety.

She will play the female in a romantic triangle with two men. Streep tackles the role after the adaptation of the play "Doubt," and "Julie & Julia are released

Meyers is also producing with Scott Rudin.

It's nice to know that Streep talents are still in demand in an industry obsessed with youth over experience and skill...(Streep still looks great!)

Production on the latest flick begins in February.
