Emile Hirsch Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Imelda Staunton have all joined the cast of Ang Lee's "Taking Woodstock" according to Variety.
Based on the memoir by Elliot Tiber and Tom Monte, James Schamus is adapting the script. The film chronicles the infamous 1969 Woodstock Festival & Concert
Morgan plays a closeted gay man having an affair with Tiber, Staunton and actor Henry Goodman will play Tiber's parents. While Hirsch (pictured) will play a recently returned Vietnam War vet.
Lee has assembled an eclectic cast which helps to capture the tone of the period on film.
Another casting tid-bit: Liev Schreiber is also in talks to play a transvestite named Vilma.
Hmm...
