Taken's Pierre Morel's first in line to direct the paranoid thriller Signals" according to The Hollywood Reporter.The story penned by Richard Potter and Matthew Stravitz. is being kept underwraps, but the tone is said to be similar to the classic 70's pic Three Days of the Condor.
"Pierre Morel is one of the most exciting filmmakers to emerge in years," said Media Rights Capital suit Tory Metzger,. "Audiences have come to expect edge-of-their-seat action from him, and we are confident this next film will deliver just that."
The film is being fast tracked and is likely to be in production before Morel's other commitments to Morel has attached himself to a Tokyo-set thriller, and Pursuit.
